MicroStation Designer

Job Description

TERRADON Corporation is seeking a full-time Microstation Designer. The position will primarily work from the corporate headquarters office in Poca, WV.

Essential Job Functions
The primary responsibilities of the Microstation Designer will be:

• Utilize Microstation to develop and prepare engineering drawings
• Utilize practical design knowledge for transportation projects
• Work closely with engineers and other designers to ensure coordinated design systems
• Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant drafting experience
• Proficient in the use of Microstation V8i, and specialized transporation design software
• Pursuit of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or business related field
• Technical interest in engineering or construction management.
• Interest in learning about large complex, high pressure projects
• Comfortable operating in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast paced work environment
• Produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer service attitude
• Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities
• Authorized to work in U.S.

Other Skills/Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be flexible and willing to assist as needed
