Construction QA/QC Inspectors

Job Description

TERRADON Corporation is seeking to hire, full-time Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Inspectors to join our Field Services Department. Positions are available for immediate hire in Poca, WV, Washington, PA and Roanoke, VA.

Ideal candidates will have experience with commercial, industrial, highway, and energy construction projects.

Successful candidates will have superior writing, time management, and organizational skills and the ability to independently perform construction inspection tasks on a variety of public and private projects.

Key tasks include soil and asphalt compaction testing, nuclear density testing, concrete testing, welding and steel inspection, and other construction testing methods.

Position includes a mix of technical writing and field work for sites throughout the Appalachian Region.

QA/QC Applicant Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
• Drug screening clearance
• Minimum of 1 year experience in construction inspection or related field (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Based Programs
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• WV DOH TRET Level I, II, III, IV (Preferred for WV candidates)
• WV DOH Certified Inspectors in Soil and Asphalt Compaction, Concrete Inspection (Preferred for WV candidates)
• Willingness to travel out of state at times for long term assignments (Preferred)

Candidate should be able and willing to work outside for extended periods in varying weather conditions consistent with company health and safety protocols.
