WVDOT Harper Road Bridge Replacement

TERRADON Corporation was contracted to develop construction plans for the cleaning and painting of the superstructure steel and substructure rehabilitation.  Substructure rehabilitation included crack repair, blast cleaning, repairing of spalls and delaminated concrete, and chloride ion extraction.

TERRADON analyzed the pier to determine if the carbon wrap would be sufficient to repair the deteriorating pier. TERRADON created the special provisions for the chloride ion extraction.

The Harper Road Bridge is an approximately 200 LF, 89 foot wide, two span, six-lane, single structure (with 10 girder lines) bridge.
